*With many of his family and friends in attendance the Kansas Antique Racers honored Gib Lane as they flew the colors of the United States around the 3/8 mile during our National Anthem. The Antiques went on to run a couple of exhibition races strengthening the history of our sport with a new generation of fans. Godspeed Gib!

*The night started with a nice cooling rain shower, the added moisture along with an amazing track prep crew provided an amazing surface throughout the evening for the racers and fans alike.

*The always popular T&M Fencing LLC Super Stocks did not disappoint! From the drop of the green flag Jason McGehee bolted to an early lead leaving a gaggle of cars battling behind him. Sixth place starter Jerrod Reimer clicked away laps slowly gaining ground on the 5 car lap after lap finally making his move on lap 14 and closing the deal for a victory! McGehee home in 2nd, HOF member Richard Wilson for 3rd, JD Eveland 4th and rounding out the top 5 was Jerry Eveland Sr. Green to checkered these guys put on a heck of a show.

*The Alternative Pest Management USRA mods were up next, with the track really coming into shape these guys were 3-4 wide for the lead, and a second pack of cars doing the same. Preemie stopper Kason Carroll was strong from the start leading or running second for 14 laps before a steering issue ended his night early. That left 11th starting Tad Davis slicing and dicing his way to the front. The battle for runner up was heated between Wyatt Gaggero and Kirby Robe when it appeared they made contact sending Wyatt to the hot pit area with a couple laps to go.
Out of nowhere T.J. “The Jet” Tolan flew into a 2nd place spot, Kirby Robe 3rd, Kevin Newell… Yes that Kevin Newell 4th! And Cecil Dymond for 5th.

*The Allied Energy and battery Stock Cars checked in 26 cars for action. It was Kaiden Holle and Bad Beau Davis leading the field to green from the front row. Beau led the first lap while Jayce Reimer jumped to the front for the next few laps. The Hoover Mower equipment Yellow flag came out more times than anyone cares for, Although it made for some interesting restarts and great racing thru the field. It was multi time track champion Clint Smith at the front of the last several laps being challenged by Kyler Kemp and Jayce a few times. A-Aron Esparza made a dash to the front late only to settle for 6th place. Your top 5 for the night were Clint Smith 1st, Kyler Kemp 2nd , Jayce Reimer 3rd, Beau Davis 4th, and youngster Justin Franz in 5th. The stock cars continue to be an unbelievably competitive class at the speedway and will come down to the last race for the points championship. Come out and watch em fly!

*The Kansas Tow Company USRA B mods finished off the show. It didn’t take long for the B-Main Bandit himself Reece Solander from jumping to the front. He seems to find a line that was half a line higher than the other racers would try early on. Cory Janasek ran a strong race along with Jacob Hodges and Clint McFadden all trading sliders battling throughout the race. As Reece crossed the checkers Janasek appeared to jump the thin cushion and tag the wall off of turn 4, this collected Jacob Hodges and McFadden into a couple of hard impacts as the race ended. Somehow Janasek kept it rolling for a second place finish , McFadden limped across 3rd, KC Mullin for 4th and Big B-mod Guy Lanterman brought it home for 5th. This is a challenge!!! Someone come and beat Reece, he is open to the challenge.
