A week after dealing out her second rain out of the season, Mother Nature tried her hardest to go for back-to-back wins at 81 Speedway, but with a smooth hardened track surface and a little bit of luck, John Allen and the FOE Enterprises crew were not to be denied on Saturday night. As announced on last night's episode of Above the Cushion, the official radio show of 81 Speedway, the following changes to the 2021 season have been made. On Saturday, June 19th the Two-M Motorsports and Machine Rookie modifieds have been removed from the program. The 2022 season kicked off in a big way here at 81 Speedway. A total of 95 cars signed in for action, and in the words of Tony Bokhoven, fans were treated to a “Jim Dandy” of an event all evening long. After a rain forced cancellation on Sept. 10th, officials with 81 Speedway and FOE Enterprises have rescheduled the Crossland Construction Super Stock Shootout presented by Double S Dirt Works. The $3,000 to win, $200 to start Super Stock event will now take place on Saturday October 1st along with the 150 lap Enduro event.
