Park City, Kansas- ASCS (American Sprint Car Series) Sooner Region invaded 81 Speedway on Saturday night. Ripping through the field from 11th, Jeremy Campbell proved how well he knows 81-Speedway on Saturday night, winning for the first time against the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products. Getting the point on Lap 23 from race-long leader, Brandon Anderson, the Wichita, Kan. driver stretched his advantage to 2.272-seconds over the closing laps. Anderson ended up second with Sean McClelland on the final podium step. Kyle Clark and Jeff Stasa made up the top five. Jake Greider crossed sixth, followed by Fred Mattox. In Heyglassman.com Stock Cars, an additional $100 was added to the winner courtesy of Gary Corneilson / Hot Rod Chicken and Good Old Racing. Hutchinson, Kansas’s Scott Miller, starting inside the second row, took advantage of the low line on the initial start and never looked back in taking the A Feature. Miller also picked the Bonus money for the win. Clint Smith and George Ramey rounded out the top 3. Heat Race wins went to Joel Hill, Miller and Shelby Staple.

Mini Stock action saw an additional $100 added to the winner of the nights A Feature courtesy of Broadway Truck and Auto of Valley Center, Kansas. Last week's winner Haley Cash had battled her way into the lead in the closing laps of the A Feature, but slid up the track on the final corner allowing Goddard’s Korey Bice to slip by and pick up his second win of the year. Heat Race win went to RC Esparza. With the win, Bice retains his points lead with Esparza, Dale Schockey and Cash in hot pursuit.

Mod LIte action saw Salina’s Justin Kinderknchet hold off last week's winner Tommy Carter as the two battled nose to tail during the nights A Feature. Kinderknecht, running the bottom groove, held off Carter and Scott Loveless, who rounded out the top three. Kinderknecht also picked up the Heat Race win.

Racing takes a weekend off for the running of the 64th Annual Hutchinson Nationals and will return, Saturday, July 25th with Alternative Pest Management / USRA A Mods, Chunky Poodle Rookie Mods, AutoTech Services Street Stocks, HeyGlassman.com Stock Cars and 360/305 Sprints.
