*Having the Dalice Franz Memorial race is an honor for the speedway and having the Franz Family in attendance and in competition makes for an epic night! Thank you for your continued support!

*Sometimes the tower gets a call right....... This past Saturday the "Call" was referring to moving the Heartland Modified feature up in the program after a trained eye spotted lightning off in the distance. The rain showed up a just race after the Mods put on a show! Thank you all for helping re-arrange the program on the fly!!

*PARK CITY, Kan. (September 20, 2025) – Being paced by the Franz family on the way to green Tanner Mullens delivered a dominating performance Saturday night at 81 Speedway, leading all 30 laps to capture the Dalice Franz Memorial and his seventh USRA Heartland Modified Tour victory of the season.

*Starting on the outside of the front row, Mullens immediately jumped to the lead and never looked back, pacing the field through lapped traffic while the battle behind him intensified. Even though multiple cautions slowed the pace of the race late, Mullens mastered every restart and never gave the rest of the field a chance at the lead.

*“It’s good to be here and to be able to win this Dalice Franz Memorial race,” Mullens said in victory lane. “I watched the Franz family a lot growing up, so it’s cool to win this one, especially in front of all the fans here at home.”

*While Mullens dominated the race itself, the championship fight got even tighter for the second night in a row. Brandon Givens charged forward from his 19th starting spot to finish sixth. Bobby Williams crossed the line in eighth, seeing his points lead shrink to a slim four point lead over Givens.

*Shadren Turner finished third and gained more ground as well, bringing all three title contenders within 25 points of each other with only two races left in the season.

*The series is set for a season finale double header at the I-35 Speedway on October 17th and 18, were the extremely tight points battle will be settled and a champion will be crowned at the Mike and Kyle Johnson owned northwest Missouri bull ring.

*The Poorman Auto Supply USRA B-Mods had a fitting end to a dominating year for Tyler Kidwell. After having one of the best races of his season he took home the win and the Track Championship! Slade Mohr did his best to reel him in coming home second, Josh Lanterman strong finish in 3rd!

*The Allied Battery Stock Cars had to slide back one race to get the traveling series A-Main completed, but it was worth the wait! The big hitters like Bad Beau Davis, Jayce Reimer, Joey Richmond, and Clint Smith were all battling side-by-side at the front while Braden Stoner was finding his way to the front having a great run. As the top pack was battling, B-feature 2nd place Brian Franz was sneaking his way under the field to put his name in the hat. As the top 8 had a fierce battle going, Franz decided on "their" night he would do whatever it took to get the win. He made his move thru turns 3-4 sliding doorside into Beau and bolting to the front. Braden made his way to 2nd, but Beau fought back around him until Stoner had enough and left-reared him and was sent to the rear. It was an amazing race and was a storybook end to the Dalice Franz memorial race seeing Brian and the family standing in victory lane.

*The rain set in and we will add Mini-stock and Super Stock FEATURES ONLY at the start of the early show this week! Free pit pass for Driver ONLY if you were in the field for rain ou. NO NEW PARTICIPANTS
