MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (March 24, 2025) - Visalia, California’s Cory Eliason and Iowa’s own TKS Motorsports have been hitting the road heavy in 2025, and with back-to-back weekends already logged in the Lone Star State, the team will next set aim on the Great Plains, joining the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in starts at Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma, and 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29.
Eliason, ace of Tammy and Troy Renfro’s Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Webb Family Farms, Landus, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, AL Driveline, Justice Brothers, Serenity Custom Woodworking, Norwalk Small Engines, XYZ Machining, Rod End Supply, 8740 Suspension, No. 2KS sprint car, will roll into Lawton and 81 fresh off of a pair of WoO starts at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22. The Californian’s weekend concluded with back-to-back A-Main starts, highlighting all action with a 16th-place score in Friday’s opener.
The team finished 23rd on Saturday, forced to surrender early due to contact and eventual damage.
“We’re plugging away and it feels good,” Eliason said. “We knew we were going to have some early season challenges. We’re still learning a lot about each other, but success will come. Just takes time and laps. Tammy and Troy Renfro do an incredible job with this race team and they give us the tools to be successful. Once we find that comfort level, we’ll be in a great position.”

TKS Motorsports and Cory Eliason will continue their 2025 campaign with another two-day WoO campaign, this time visiting Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Oklahoma, and 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas, on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29.
