Back on track this Friday and Saturday night, the ASCS Sooner Region will take on tracks in Oklahoma and Kansas, with Sapulpa's Creek County Speedway on August 16, followed by 81-Speedway in Park City on August 17.

The site of 152 ASCS National and Regional events since 1993, Creek County Speedway kicked off the 2024 season for the ASCS Sooner Region, with Seth Bergman mounting a massive charge for the win. A more recent addition to the ASCS lineup, 81-Speedway has been part of Regional and National lineups every year since 2017, with scattered events before that with NCRA. One visit in July, Hafertepe picked up win No. 6 with the National Tour this season and his first at the Kansas track.

Casey Wills leads the ASCS Sooner Region standings going into the weekend double by 131 markers over Blake Hahn. Third is held by defending series champion Fred Mattox, with Alex Sewell and multi-time Sooner Region Champion Sean McClelland making up the top five.
