This past Saturday Night 9/9/2023 brought much needed reprieve from the heat for fans and crews, and even faster racing conditions.
We will start where we left off last race-week, and man the crowd was delighted to see USRA national points leader Ryan Middaugh joining our Alternative pest management USRA A-Modifieds in competition, along with Platinum USMTS driver Brandon Givens. Both Cookie Monster and Middaugh made it to the podium at nights end. Tyler Davis 1st, Paden Phillips 2nd, Tad Davis 3rd, Middaugh 4th, and BG 5th!!
The BSB B-Mod show only brought 8 participants to a division that normally boasts a good number, but that did not stop Prather motorsports from winning the feature and overcoming the point lead!! New racer to the speedway Tyson Lanfermann solid finish in 2nd, Mark Smith 3rd, Andrew Wallace 4th, Jacob Hodges 5th.
In the AutoTech Service Super Stocks we watched Wild-Child Jerrod Reimer being chased down by Kenny Sweet and barely eeked out another victory by .147 seconds!!!! Chris Pitts 3rd, Jason McGehee back in a SS takes 4th, and James Weve 5th. The points battle will come down to the final Showdown on Sept. 30th as we watched Chris Purkey struggle with a broken axle and close to broken dreams on winning the championship!!
The Primal Jerky Mini Stocks watched the Reimer Racing Mini-Stock driven by Titus Botzfield win again making it three in a row!! That left DODO Bird Doty looking for 20 more Horses and finishing 2nd, Justin Esparza 3rd, Kasey Coleman 4th, and Joseph Jaeger 5th..
