Well we knew it was going to be a good night cause first we started out by honoring a great sponsor out at the 81 Speedway and that is Hornet Cutting Systems. The show was headlined by the Heyglassman.com Stock Cars as they where racing for $3,000 to win and $150 to start the race. We had some great sponsors step and make this night awesome for all of our racers as we had almost $5,500 dollars in contingency money and prizes for the drivers. We had 48 cars check in for the extravaganza so had to have five heat races and two B features. Well a driver who picked up the win at the 67th Hutch Nationals of Clint Smith in the 12C had to work his tail off but made a pass towards the end of the race against the 25X of Troy Burkhart out of Hays, KS. Clint Smith then worked his way to the Winners Circle to pick up the big check for $3,000 dollars. Taking 2nd was the 25X of Troy Burkhart who had to pass Beau Davis to take the lead and had it for a while. Third went to the 1 of Scott Miller and 4th went to the 01X of Beau Davis and rounding out your top was the 21 of Josh Everhart.
The Primal Jerky Mini Stocks had 19 cars check in on Saturday night. The young man in the 13 of Dylan Doty who started 6th in the A feature worked his way through the field and picked up another win for the 2023 season. Coming in 2nd was the young man of Titus Bortzfield with only being in the car for the second time this year. Justin Esparza took 3rd in the 18L and 4th went to the 23 of Shane Hay and 5th went to the 4K of Kasey Coleman.
Well the BSB Manufacturing USRA B-Mods put on a good show but the driver who has had a bunch of little things plague him through the season picked up the win and that was the 54 of Tyler Kidwell. Coming in second was the 5 of Reece Solander who has been super fast here lately and then the driver who ended up taking third worked his way through a bunch of cars as he started 15 in the A feature. Coming in 4th was the 14J of Jacob Hodges and rounding out your top five was the 9 of Slade Mohr who started 16th in the Feature race.
Then rounding our the night was the Alternative Pest Management USRA Modifieds. The driver of the 65 Tyler Davis stayed hot and picked up another win on the night but was challenged towards the end of the race by the 15 of Wyatt Gaggero but couldn't get it done and came in 2nd. The 3rd place driver was the 7G of Gabe Hodges who has moved out of USRA B-Mod and has only been in an A-Mod for three races. Darren Moses took 4th in the 42 car and taking 5th was the 9 of Kenton Allen.
