Well the night at 81 Speedway started with some make up features that had gotten rained out so we started with the Auto Tech Service Super Stocks. The driver having a good run in the make up feature was the 11 out of Hutchinson,KS of Scott Miller. Then we ran the Make up feature for the JLR Property Management 316 Mods and picking up the win in the make up feature was the 25C of Johnny Cammon out of Wichita, KS.
We where able to get the heat races in for the Auto Tech Service Super Stocks and for the ASCS Sprint Cars but then the rain came in and made us have a slight delay in the night. Once the rain cleared up we where able to get the track back in shape thanks to the crew at 81 Speedway and all the drivers for hitting the track and helping us roll it in the rest of the way so we could have a great racing surface.
When we got to the A Feature for the Auto Tech Service Super Stocks A Feature we saw the driver of Jerrod Reimer fresh off his Hutch Nationals when get out front to pick up the win but was challenged a few times by the driver in the 134 of Alan Blevins but just didn't have enough and came in 2nd. The third place driver was the 42JR of Kenny Sweet who worked his way through the pack after starting 16th in the A Feature. Scott Miller in the 11 car finished 4th and Richard Wilson in the 2W took 5th.
Then in the JLR Property Management 316 A-Mods we saw the 25C of Johnny Cammon get out front and run his race as he was super fast all night long. Well the 2nd place car was Kendall Kemp in the 2K after making a trip home during the rain delay to fix the car from the damaged from the make up feature. Logan Johnson in the 96 car had a great run as he started 12th in the A Feature and took 3rd. Then we saw the driver in the 29C of Cooper Weis come in 4th and taking 5th was the 34 car of Ricky Bonham.
81 Speedway will be back in action coming up this Saturday on July 29th as it will be the Bumper to Bumper-Wix Filters Night as we will see the Alternative Pest Management USRA Modifieds, BSB manufacturing USRA B-Mods, Auto Tech Service Super Stocks, Primal Jerky Mini Stocks, and the Heyglassman.com Stock Cars.
