Dry slick was the recipe, the main course delighted.

To follow last weeks rain-out, 81 Speedway rolled in all 5 classes to the track this Saturday 5/2/2026. The night proved to be action filled and even spilled into non racing events… check out Dirt Track Diaries on YouTube for a look.
All nights are special for some of the competitors, but this one was super special for the winner in the TM Fencing LLC Super Stock class. Fred Freeman put together a fantastic performance and parked it in O’reilly auto parts Victory Lane by Logan’s Lawn and Tree Service. He held off young gun Jaiden Eveland that kept making runs to get to him, but this one belonged to Fred. He was overjoyed on the scales and did his best to hold it together in his interview. I have a feeling he will be back again soon after this taste of victory he just received.
The Treasure Hunt Estate Sales mini-stock / Hornet class has been a fun one this season so far, although the results will show that the 33 of Karson Keeler has won all 3 features, it hasn’t been easy and the class keeps getting faster. Who will dethrone him in the coming weeks? Andy Smith got rid of the Gremlins and challenged all night taking 2nd, Dan Canady 3rd.
Next up was the USRA B Mods by Poorman Auto Supply. K.C. Mullin was off to a good start but wasn’t sure where to be on the track, Searching for a way around Braden Stoner found some moisture on the bottom and got around K.C., It was far from over as the top 5 all battled side by side until the checkered flag dropped. Stoner grabs his 2nd win this season, K.C. Mullin 2nd, Tyler Kidwell 3rd, Josh Lanterman 4th, and Kaden O’Neill 5th
The Allied Battery Stock Cars had point leader Beau Davis on the pole , an absent Scott Lehman opened up the outside front row to Jayce Reimer setting up a battle from the start. Jayce wheeling a new Cadillac chassis against the BDR car driven by Beau. Well the 01x led the first circuit while Jayce jumped to the top and stayed committed and led the remaining 14 laps being challenged on about every lap! The bottom was still working but Beau had to slow up his entry so much that he couldn’t quite edge past Jayce. Aaron Esparza drove a really clean race and was in the mix the whole time finishing 3rd ! Gregg Schell jumped back in the familiar 89 car and nabbed 4th and the late closer Kaiden Holle stole 5th late and finished there strong. Make sure you all come watch these guys next week!!! The closing act was the Alternative Pest Management USRA mods, and with a strong field of 25 cars the 25 lap feature did not disappoint! It took a couple of starts to get some laps knocked out, but the battles and bumps were throughout the field. Chevy Coleman and Cuz Dan Powers may have an interesting Thanksgiving as they raced hard from the drop, not giving a lane, trading bumper taps all night. As the family battled on, the 65 of Tyler Davis snuck below both for a BOGO deal and took the lead. The 65 stayed glued to the bottom until two laps to go and then went to the topside to break the rhythm of the fast closing Dan Powers. He then went back to bottom and stopped the late charging Wyatt Gaggero for the win. Tyler Davis 1st, Wyatt Gaggero 2nd, Dan Powers 3rd, Chevy Coleman 4th, and Henry Chambers 5th.
Next week is a special one, please come out and support the speedway and the Stoner Family. The Arnold Stoner Stock Cars and Guitars memorial by TM Fencing LLC special will feature the Mini-Stock/tuners to support the $2000 to win Stock car event! Don’t run away, drivers, fans, crews please stick around to listen to a great concert by Harrison Steele! Right on the frontstretch!! This is one to have marked on the calendar.
